Friendship Repair Sessions
Some friendships
matter too much
to lose
over one
painful season
These sessions are designed for friends who want support navigating repair with honesty, structure, and emotional maturity.
Sometimes a friendship rupture happens through conflict, betrayal, distance, unmet expectations, avoidance, life transitions, or years of unspoken tension.
And often, both people care... but neither knows how to repair what happened.
Whether you’re trying to reconnect after distance, work through a painful conflict, or decide whether repair is possible, I help create a space where both people can slow down, speak clearly, and actually hear each other.
Why Friendship Repair Matters
Friendships can carry enormous emotional significance.
They hold history, identity, loyalty, belonging, laughter, and deep attachment.
Yet friendship pain is often minimized in our culture. There’s no roadmap for how to repair them.
So many people either:
Cut off prematurely
Stay resentful
Avoid the conversation
Keep repeating the same conflict
Grieve silently without closure
Repair is possible
when both people are willing.
My Approach
My work is informed by relational psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS),
Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), and honest communication.
That means we don’t just focus on what happened.
We also explore:
Protective reactions like shutdown, defensiveness, blame, withdrawal
Old wounds activated by the friendship rupture
Misunderstandings beneath surface conflict
Unspoken needs and disappointments
How to communicate without escalating
Whether reconnection feels healthy and realistic
My role is not to take sides.
My role is to help both people feel heard, bring clarity to the dynamic, and support the next honest step.
